Alex Malley - Chief Executive Officer alexmalley@usan
As Chief Executive Officer Alex is responsible for the overall performance of USANZ spanning education and training, professional development, membership, commercial management and ongoing relations with the Medical Industry, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and other external stakeholders. Prior to his appointment, Alex has had extensive experience in professional consulting and the tertiary education sector. His consulting has incorporated strategic planning, facilitation and professional training in both the private and public sectors. Alex has held a number of governance posts in both the professional and academic sectors including university council representation and currently sits on a number of boards and government sector committees. Among a range of current appointments Alex is currently the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Audit Office of NSW, Chairman of the Australasian Reporting Awards and the President of CPA Australia.
Deborah Klein - Education & Training Manager education@usanz
Deborah Klein manages the Surgical Education and Training Program in Urology. She supports the Board of Urology, co-ordinates the selection process, administers the training program and the hospital inspection process. Deborah also organises Trainee Week and a range of seminars and scientific meetings, for trainees and Society members. She has a wealth of experience in human resources, project management and professional development, particularly in the areas of recruitment, training and conference organisation. Her organisational ability, commitment to delivering an excellent educational experience, coupled with a warm and engaging personality has contributed to the success of many urology trainees.
Wendy Frazer - CPD Manager cpd@usanz.org.a
As CPD Manager, Wendy Frazer provides support to the Continuing Professional Development Committee and Special Advisory Groups, NSW Section, organises workshops, seminars and scientific meetings for USANZ members. She also assists the Education Manager in the presentation of the Specialist Surgical Training in Urology program. Wendy Frazer brings experience in adult education and logistical operations, as well as her organisational skills and attention to detail to her role with USANZ.
Louise Reeson - Membership and Communication Manager / EA to the Chief Executive communication@u
Louise utilises her strong administration, membership, public relations and communications experience in her role, supporting the CEO, President and the Executive. Louise also provides support to the Australasian Urological Foundation and its annual grant program. Louise manages the Society's media relations; the website and member database; coordinates membership applications and produces and distributes USANZ's electronic and print newsletters. Louise also coordinates production of the annual Member Handbook and Annual Report. Louise has a Bachelor of Arts from Wollongong University and is completing post-graduate studies in Media and Communication. Louise has vast experience in professional membership bodies.
